The Role: The Audiologist is a patient-focused role with no pressure to sell devices. The Audiologist will be responsible for managing the in-house TeamstersCare Audiology program. This position is based in their Charlestown, MA office and includes a 35-hour work week, including rotating Saturdays. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide comprehensive diagnostic audiological services for eligible members, retirees, and dependents
  • Conduct hearing aid consultations, fittings, real ear verification, and routine follow-ups
  • Perform cerumen removal
  • Educate patients on hearing health and preventive measures
  • Maintain accurate patient records using computerized systems
  • Manage day-to-day clinic operations, including patient appointments and follow-ups
  • Coordinate Audiology participation in workplace health fairs and community events
  • Provide utilization statistics and reports for departmental planning and budgeting
  • Collaborate with internal departments, medical providers, and external agencies tp ensure integrated patient care

Qualifications: 

  • Masters in Audiology or Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) is required
  • Massachusetts Audiologist License is required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Audiology and hearing aid fitting 
    is required
